Valerie Blair, founder of Blair College Planning, believes that every student deserves a college search that is simple, stress-free, and effective.  She works with students and families to help them choose colleges wisely and manage the application and financial aid processes confidently and effectively.  Ultimately, her goal is for the student to feel sure that s/he has chosen a college that fits his/her needs.

Valerie is a former faculty member at the University of Houston.  She holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and a graduate Certificate in College Counseling.  She has also received training in higher education consulting from the Independent Educational Consultants Association.  Valerie is a member of the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling and the Higher Education Consultants Association and subscribes to the standards of good practice of both organizations.
